Okay, we don’t have cable…and in fact I refuse to get it until I can get just what I want and not have to scroll through 500 channels of crap to get to the 10 channels that interest me. However, I do love cooking shows, so Saturdays are a big deal because PBS plays about 6 hours of them, yay! I normally tape them to watch at my leisure, but this past weekend I was able to spend some quality time with PBS. In the middle of Everyday Foods, Merc sat down and watched with me and when they started making these Mocha Custards, his eyes lit up.

“Let’s make that!” he drooled.

“Now?”

“Why not?”

“Okay, let’s go to the store.”

We had to pick up a few things, but man was it worth it. We enjoyed all six servings over the next three days and loved every spoonful.

“It’s like the yummiest pudding I’ve ever had,” I marveled. I definately recommend it!
